Shedding

"Do not worry about tricks and cheat. If some people are trying to trap and hurt you, God is also trapping them. Hole diggers fell in their holes. No bad remains non punished, no good remains non awarded. Have faith in justice and let the rest be."
~ [Shams Tabrizi]

So I just read these lines today, and it reminded me a lot about who I used to be; someone who would let the people keep on blaming her for stuff. Because after a while nobody wants to listen to your clarifications as they themselves are so messed up that they can't really look beyond.
I was a good person in all. Never intentionally hurt anyone. Never lied until it was for a greater good. Never tried to be a burden on anyone. Always be a helping hand. An nonjudgmental ear. Might not be that of a forgiving heart, but then I had my few vices too. My friends loved me, and my family knew that they need me to keep things in place.
That I got married - the new people I entered as a part of my life struck me hard with all the negativity they held. It has have eventually hit me - I find myself whining and crying and complaining and getting irritated and all negative over thing that I myself even forget later as to what the real issue was. But, in that specific moment I am a totally dark cloud. THAT'S BAD!

Been trying to pull myself out of it - keep telling myself that this is not the person I am, not even the person I want to be and live like... How would Allah forgive me if I won't let HIS people be. Yes, they've hurt me deep. Yes, they've time and again tried to distort the relationship between me and my husband, at EVERY chance there could've been - sadly I was left unprotected to suffer the harshness of my in-laws.. I cried and cried but for no use, there wasn't a consoling arm..
I blame all my negativity to that - but I need to remember that Allah is The Supreme - HE's watching - HE knows... I need to learn to be a better person again. I don't want HIM to look down on me and shrug for what I've become; a person that I would dislike to be around myself...

Dear Allah, give me the strength to shed this darkness off of me - I can't fail the trials of this world, that's not an option that I give myself - Aameen
and Dear Allah, protect my boy like YOU've always protected me, guide him to the truth like YOU've always guided me.. Let him walk YOUR path - Aameen..
