or should I say its probably a big leap for all of us...
Mohammad started his school today - AND he has amazingly adapted to the new environment.. His teacher seemed to be utterly pleased with his smilingly entering the class. Not to boost, but rather to get a hand on the info that how much input we need to give for our child to learn this year, I told her of how much he can already do that includes reading and writing ABC in caps, reading the numbers and writing a few (though he knows much more like shapes, colors, names of different vehicles, but I tried to keep it to that) and she seemed amazed by how much he already knows.. :) and that was a proud feeling for a simple parent like me...
I can't really point how all these 3 years passed, and today he's a big boy taking his first step in the outside world without holding on to my finger.. Insha'Allah, he'll be do splendid - don't know about how a parent should feel but I want him to learn and have fun, 'cause when we look back these are the best years of our lives.
For the rest of the day, from the point we picked him up from the school uptill now that I've to forcefully put him to sleep, he was literally on his toes, running around, playing, humming the poems from the school and just totally in the groove.
I pray he becomes a good person, a gentleman raised in my arms - I pray him to succeed in all his endeavors. Aameen!!
